• He grew up in Adelaide and graduated from Rostrevor College in 2001, and Flinders University Drama Centre in 2005.
• He played Hamlet in the graduate production. Since this time he has worked professionally in both theatre and film.
• He plays the central character in an Australian feature film 'September', directed by Peter Carstairs, which was released in 2007 and featured in the Toronto International Film Festival.
• Newcastle, directed by Dan Castle, had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2008.
• His latest film 'Further We Search' is centred around his character; directed by Darius Devas 'Further We Search' was screened with the Byron Bay Film Festival in August 2009.
• Xavier's mangement company has also confirmed that Xavier has been cast in Eclipse, the third film in the Twilight franchise.
• In Eclipse, Xavier will play Riley, a good-looking college student and newborn vampire, who will do anything to help Victoria murder Bella.
