Biography

• Korey was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Although of East Indian descent, she frequently plays Native American and Canadian First Nations roles in television and film.
• As a teenager she appeared in commercials and moved to Vancouver in 2002 to further her acting career. Korey made her film debut in 2005 in the direct-to-DVD horror film It Waits. Also in 2005 she appeared in the TV mini-series Into the West which was produced by Steven Spielberg. In 2006 she played a rape victim in Carl Bessai's Unnatural & Accidental. She worked with Bessai again in 2008 in Mothers & Daughters alongside Tantoo Cardinal and will make a cameo in his upcoming film Fathers & Sons. In 2007 she appeared in The Lookout which starred Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Also in 2007 she appeared in the CTV TV movie Luna: Spirit of the Whale which Adam Beach, Graham Greene and Tantoo Cardinal starred. She played Airofday in the popular 2007 TV mini-series Tin Man which starred Zooey Deschanel. In 2009 she worked with her It Waits director Steven R. Monroe again for the TV movie Wyvern. Korey will play Emily and appear alongside Graham Greene again in the upcoming vampire film The Twilight Saga: New Moon, based on the novel New Moon written by Stephenie Meyer.
