Isabella “Bella” Swan moves to Forks, Washington to live with her father, Charlie, after her mother, Renee remarries to Phil Dwyer.

Phil Dwyer is a minor league baseball star. Isabella never had many friends and she wasn’t a person to worry about being popular.

However, in Forks she attracts many friends. Bella was very shy and really didn’t want the excess of the many boys that tried for her attention.

When going to her classes she has to sit next to Edward Cullen in the biology class. Edward seemed totally disgusted by her and left immediately. Edward Cullen is so beautiful and her friends explain to her that he is not of the type of person to go with any of them.

Edward did not show up for class for a couple of days and when he did he tried to get out of the Biology class so he did not have to sit near her. Bella was totally confused.

When he returned he tried talking to her and telling her it would not work between them, which confused Bella more. But when Edward saved her from a would be fatal accident. Bella she knew he was different from anyone.

Jacob Black a friend to Bella since she was younger and visiting her father lived on the La Push reservation. One day while talking to him, she was able to get him to tell her more about the Quileute tribe and why the Cullen’s had never been accepted by the people of Forks, Washington.

After going into town and buying a book about vampires and the myths. She is sure that Edward was one of them. Over time, Edward and Bella is passionately in love. Edward had to explain why he had to leave the Biology class on the first day because of Bella’s scent was like a drug to an addict.

Things were going well for them but when the Cullen’s invited Bella for a game of baseball another vampire coven showed up. Two of the American Nomads and One of the Denali Coven decided they wanted Bella for a snack. James of the Nomads was a skilled hunter and when the whole Cullen Coven tried to hide her, James tracked her down, during a fight that happened James had bitten Bella. Edward was the only one who was able to save her.

After the danger that ensued after this, Bella recovers from the attack and she and Edward went to the prom and Bella requests that Edward makes her a vampire but Edward swore this would not happen.

With neither one of them refusing to give up, the book Twilight comes to an end, but with both of them determined and deeply in love.
